The Tribal interest...
"Faces and expression intrigue me immensely. I am very influenced by the earthiness of the tribals. Their strong features and impenetrable eyes betray no emotion along with their rustic dressing and ornaments gives me a sense of thrill."

On the Bhonda tribe....
"Bhonda is a tribe in the South-East State of Orissa in India. I find their attire very fascinating. The headgear and top garment consist of long strings of the tiniest and most colourful beads. And while going to the market place they just tie a sarong like piece of cloth on their upperbody. What is most intriguing is their similarity with the African tribes."
